“She now realized that the visions she had enjoyed as a child, during her meditations, and while hearing that special song in the bookstore were genuine aspects of universal life. Gazing around her, at the magnificence of the Himalayas, she noticed celestial beings as real as the boulders, birds, and creatures. A trio of blue angels hovered in the near distance, their wings compactly folded in, their faces expressing only Love. Fairies, as quick as hummingbirds, darted from one flower to the next. Elves, mischievous and amusing, cavorted among the small piles of rocks. It was as if all the perceptual filters that had previously blocked her perception of these beings had been suddenly removed or as though rather than simply tuning into a single frequency of the cosmos she was now able to perceive them all simultaneously.”
