“Truth is Truth”

“‘Divinity transcends religious divisions. I myself have learned a great deal from the Zoroastrians and the Buddhists. You will find God-Realized souls in every tradition, and even ones who are not part of a tradition. Remember what I said earlier about words and labels. They do not create the experience of unity with God. Generally, in fact, they are the creation of those who have never enjoyed that experience, those whose business is to talk and write about something they can only dream of knowing. Scholars take the ecstasy of the spiritual lover and form it into mud bricks, which they then use to build a structure to house their theories. Beware of those who offer you complicated systems and hard-to-understand theories of spiritual life. It is, after all, the simplest and easiest thing in the world: let yourself go, fall into the heart of God, and simply exist there forever and always.’”

Richard Maddox

Richard Dietrich Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters. Maddox approaches spiritual wisdom from a Western level of experience, presenting characters to whom readers can easily relate, offering situations in which readers might well have found themselves. His work offers, in a style which those living in the West will find understandable, the possibility of blissful existence.
