Richard Dietrich Maddox
Richard Dietrich Maddox grew up in the Midwestern United States and graduated with honors from Princeton University. After graduation, he spent five years in Europe studying literature and preparing to teach meditation. He then taught meditation for two more years, before serving as the Vice President of Sales for seven successful high-tech startup companies. In 2005, he retired from the business world to concentrate on writing.
Richard Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters. Maddox approaches spiritual wisdom from a Western level of experience, presenting characters to whom readers can easily relate, offering situations in which readers might well have found themselves. His work offers, in a style which those living in the West will find understandable, the possibility of blissful existence.
Maddox's work is presented in elegant English and every detail and idea has been thoroughly researched. The books and stories seek to uplift their reader to a higher and finer place in which the Truth of the Masters will be more readily comprehensible.
Readers have been delighted, moved, and gratified by the books and stories. Their scope has been described as "breathtaking," "moving," and "remarkable."
