“A Vision of Everything”

“Ananda perceived a lingering question in the girls’ minds and now answered it. “Jnani can perform many actions in the body that others cannot. This is because they operate from Brahman, the field of all possibilities. Everything in the universe arises from Brahman, so one who works from there has the laws of nature at her command.” As Ananda spoke these words, the girls once again were swept up in an extraordinary vision. They perceived endless vistas of glittering galaxies, billions and billions of stars stretching out into infinitude. And they found themselves as the very essence of all that they saw. It was as though they were the stars, as though they were the infinitude. They didn’t know how long it was before this vision passed and they found themselves once again gazing upon the holy woman. She smiled at them knowingly and then closed her eyes. The friends quietly left the cave.” (from “Palace of Perfect Wisdom”)
