“Beach Dance-3”

“She felt as though she were dancing for an invisible observer, for the one whose presence she had sensed beside her on the beach that day of the trance. She was, as it were, introducing herself to him, dancing her essence in terpsichorean messages. ‘Here is my grace and here my flow. Here I reach up to the heavens for inspiration, and here I poise on the earth as suitable expression. Now I make the elements my own, and soon my innermost essence will merge into Oneness with them. I dance for peace and for love, for the acceptance of differences and the rejoicing of changes. I spin like the planet and soar like the winged birds. I recur like the soft plash of the sea and sparkle like the moonlight on its waves. My woman is being born and, being born, gives birth to miracles. The earth is the playground of my soul, and I dance to the music of the spheres.’”
