“First Arrival”

“After a week of so dedicating themselves, the friends were thrilled to see someone walking from the direction of the cave. It was a woman in her sixties with long, flowing, gray hair. With her ground-length cape, silver medallion, and feathery aigrette, she resembled a Druid priestess. Her eyes looked into an infinite distance. The woman walked in a gliding motion as if she had rollers in the place of feet. Upon reaching the friends, she addressed herself to Stilla. “My name is Bandora. I come from the forests, having been called here by the songs of birds.” Stilla held out her hands and Bandora grasped them. They looked deep into each other’s eyes and then smiled. Stilla introduced the others. “You are the first to join us and are therefore especially welcome. We call this the Palace of Perfect Wisdom.” “And it is here that we will create heaven on Earth,” Bandora said.” (from “Palace of Perfect Wisdom”)
