“Rumi”

Excerpt from “Osi and Isi: A Tale of Twin Flames”: “The Sufi master now made eye contact with all of the colonists. As he did so, each felt enlivened, enkindled, and inspired. It was as though a powerful hose had shot a stream of pure water through their souls, cleansing and purifying them. Then he looked at Schak and began to speak. ‘Seek the wisdom that will untie your knot. Seek the path that demands your whole being. Whether one moves slowly or with speed, the one who is a seeker will be a finder. Let go of your mind and then be mindful. Close your ears and listen. Whatever purifies you is the right path. Anything which is more than necessity is poison. It may be power, wealth, hunger, ego, greed, laziness, love, ambition, hate, or anything. The garden of the world has no limit except in your mind. When I am silent, I fall into the place where everything is music.’”

Richard Maddox

Richard Dietrich Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters. Maddox approaches spiritual wisdom from a Western level of experience, presenting characters to whom readers can easily relate, offering situations in which readers might well have found themselves. His work offers, in a style which those living in the West will find understandable, the possibility of blissful existence.
