“The Palace”

“The Palace resembled a beehive of positivity, in every cell of which sweet essence was constantly being produced. Or it might have been conceived of as a spiritual symphony orchestra in every spot of which a vital contributory gift was being offered up. Here in the Palace, all the spiritual traditions of the world came together. From the most ancient to the most modern, no valid spiritual practice was missing from this immense temple of Bliss. Breath was being watched in one place. Mantra was being sounded in another. Prayer was being offered in a third. Obeisance, sacrifice, psalm, dance, and silence all were freely given for the enlivenment of the Infinite Absolute. The result was a sort of giant body of Consciousness that throbbed with Love and Peace. Wherever one walked in the Palace, one felt this enlivenment of Consciousness, almost as if subtle strings were playing fine music on the nerves of the soul.” (from “Palace of Perfect Wisdom”)

Richard Maddox

Richard Dietrich Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters. Maddox approaches spiritual wisdom from a Western level of experience, presenting characters to whom readers can easily relate, offering situations in which readers might well have found themselves. His work offers, in a style which those living in the West will find understandable, the possibility of blissful existence.
