“World Effects”

“As this meditation was taking place, its effects were being felt all over the world. Opponents in parliaments suddenly found unexpected common ground. Squabbling couples ceased their quarrels and hugged. Rainbows replaced storm clouds. Would-be suicides dropped their weapons and found a formerly elusive hope. It was as though a tidal wave of positivity crashed down upon the world, drowning negative energy, and replacing it with positive. People suddenly found that intractable issues could be resolved. Their minds opened to possibilities they had never before conceived. Hope rose in hearts that had given up on that nourishing ingredient of a happy life. Inner darkness, which had turned millions of souls into living prison cells, gave way to glimmers of resurrectional light. Patients suffering in pain gained a space of blessed normalcy. Flowers seemed to emit a richer perfume. The cold wind warmed and softened. It was marvelous really.” (from “Palace of Perfect Wisdom”)
