“A Boy’s Vision” from “The Enlightenment of Joshua Inly”

“In a gentle but well-pitched voice, he began to speak. ‘I saw a column of fire climbing up my spine. At certain points, the fire paused and a colorful flower caught its flame. Once the fire reached the top of my head, the entire universe opened up to me. There were huge fields of stars, bright and glittering, and whole worlds of beings, some in higher places and some in lower. Everything that I perceived twinkled with an enchanting light. The air of the worlds onto which I looked was made up of divine breath. Immense flowers, as big as skyscrapers, bloomed in wonderful shades of magenta and baby blue, and out of their huge petals appeared translucent beings, shimmering with golden light. Music sounded all around me, but music such as I have never before heard: music that orchestrated the unfolding of the flowers and the rise of the golden beings and the radiance of the stars. I had no thought of myself while all these sights rose up. I didn’t seem to exist at all. I had melted into this vast creation of marvels and become part of it. No sense of time existed here. No necessity made itself known. A delicious feeling of perfection pervaded everything: the flowers, the beings, and the worlds. Thank you, Joshua, for granting me this vision.’”    https://www.amazon.com/Enlightenment-Joshua-Richard-Dietrich-Maddox-ebook/dp/B07B8W2MNR
