“Lao-Tzu”

Excerpt from “Osi and Isi: A Tale of Twin Flames”: “‘A yin with a yang is called Tao. The Tao is the source and ideal of all existence: it is unseen, but not transcendent, immensely powerful yet supremely humble, being the root of all things. Tao is living in a state of harmony with the universe. People have desires and free will (and thus are able to alter their own nature). Many act “unnaturally”, upsetting the natural balance of the Tao. To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders. Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love. He who conquers others is strong. He who conquers himself is mighty. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. The Master’s power is like this. He lets all things come and go effortlessly, without desire. He never expects results; thus, he is never disappointed. Do you want to improve the world? I don’t think it can be done. The world is sacred. It can’t be improved. If you tamper with it, you’ll ruin it. If you treat it like an object, you’ll lose it.’”

Richard Maddox

Richard Dietrich Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters.
