“The Guru”

Excerpt from “Osi and Isi: A Tale of Twin Flames”: “Suddenly, their attention was drawn back to the Guru. They heard what sounded like a deep intake of air. His body grew radiant, shining, brilliant, and golden. A laser of light shot out of the top of his head. They were all temporarily blinded. Once they reopened their eyes, there was only a pile of ashes where the Master had been. He had not only left the body, but had consumed it in the process. All the disciples except Shakti were stunned. They had witnessed what they considered to be a miracle. After a few moments, Shakti rose and, taking a brass pot with her, moved over to where the Saint had sat. She carefully, and with deep respect, gathered the ashes into the pot. These were the holy relics of one of the greatest spiritual Teachers who had ever graced the earth.”

Richard Maddox

Richard Dietrich Maddox's writing focuses on the search for permanent happiness, the goal of finding paradise on earth, the attainment of human Enlightenment. His work, though fiction, attempts to convey the profound spiritual Truth passed on to humanity by Enlightened Masters. Maddox approaches spiritual wisdom from a Western level of experience, presenting characters to whom readers can easily relate, offering situations in which readers might well have found themselves. His work offers, in a style which those living in the West will find understandable, the possibility of blissful existence.
