“The Power of Love”

“Shakti was the embodiment of love. I remember one client we had who was so gloomy and pessimistic that he might have played Eeyore from Winnie-the Pooh. Dressed all in black, his head hanging down, he would mouse into our office as if he were on his way to the gallows. You guys know me. I’m a pretty upbeat person. But, after a month of working with him, I hadn’t succeeded in putting even a dent in Moro’s depression. Imagine my surprise then when I walked into the watching room and saw Shakti and Moro playing a hand-clapping game! He wasn’t smiling or laughing, but he was playing. Shakti had succeeded in getting the man to engage with her in a social activity, something I had never known him to do. After that day, they were fast friends. I would see him helping her hang special lights along the ceiling, carrying heavy boxes for her, and looking over her shoulder as she showed him how a computer worked. How had she accomplished this miracle? Through the power of love! Shakti possessed a priceless gift, that of truly seeing the inner Light of everyone she met.”
