“Floating: Part 2”

Excerpt from “Osi ands Isi: A Tale of Twin Flames”: “After what only seemed like a long time, Hirta slowly descended to the ground. As she came down, the beings first backed away, and then completely faded out of sight. Hirta turned and stared at the spot where Innocente was concealed. She gave him a lovely smile, so he gained courage and came out of hiding. He approached her very slowly. Her body shone with an otherworldly light. One might have said that she looked to have been bathed in heavenly water-light. Hirta held up her hand, indicating that the boy should not come any closer. Then she turned the hand palm upward and extended her fingers in a gesture that seemed to send him something through the air. Innocente felt his body begin to quiver in a thousand places. Tiny explosions of energy enlivened his muscles and brain. His mind was wiped clean, such that he felt like an empty crystalline vase. His eyes had spontaneously closed. Now they opened, and he saw that tenuous fibers of light connected his body and Hirta’s They reminded him of jump ropes that might have been used by fairies. Hirta began to nod her head. As she did so, the strings of light rippled. As the strings of light rippled, Innocente felt things moving inside him, almost as if he were a house and his furniture was being rearranged by the light. Suddenly, Hirta’s body blazed so bright that none of its features could be seen. Innocente experienced a powerful blast of energy.”
