“Woman of 1000 Years”

Excerpt from “Osi and Isi: A Tale of Twin Flames”: “One day, Osi was hiking in the mountains as sunset approached. The twin pinnacles, bathed in the flat rays of the lowering sun, looked like giant pieces of the gemstone apatite, with facets directly catching the sun lightening to pink coral. The sweeps of snow at the base of the peaks reminded him of cotton batting protecting the gemstones. Most beautiful of all was the perfect reflection of the stony spires in the waters of the lake, the reflection being even clearer than the peaks themselves. As Osi paused to admire this beauty, he began to hear in his head the lyrics of the song “Woman of 1000 Years.” He remembered that she might be seen up in the sky or from the land, before floating down to appear by the waterside. At just that moment, marvel of marvels, he made out the figure of a young woman descending from the summit of the mountain and gliding down to the edge of the reflective lake. The woman was too distant for his eyes to see her clearly, but Osi felt an overpowering certainty that it was indeed the emerald-eyed lady from his paintings.”
